Leo D. Keating, LICSW, Clinical Director

Leo D. Keating is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who joined the staff at NEFA after his graduation in 1996 from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. Mr. Keating supervises all of the evaluations performed at NEFA, and personally conducts more than one hundred sexual offender evaluations annually. He has been qualified as an expert and delivered reports and testimony in Massachusetts District and Superior courts, and United States Federal courts in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.  As part of the evaluation process, Mr. Keating oversees sexual interest testing including administration of the Penile Plethysmograph and ABEL.  Currently, he specializes in both individual and group psychotherapy in the treatment of men with sexually compulsive behaviors.  In addition to his work at NEFA, he has significant clinical experience in correctional venues in several states and has worked with and evaluated violent offenders.
