Geneva Gann graduated from Suffolk University with a joint master’s degree and certificate of advanced graduate studies (CAGS). She received her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling and Master of Science in Crime and Justice Studies in 2013, and her CAGS in Mental Health Counseling in 2014. She currently works as a Mental Health Professional for the Department of Correction in a medium level security, male facility with a mission to provide services for the mentally ill incarcerated individuals. She previously worked for the Department of Youth Services, on a male, hardware secure detention facility for 2 years, conducting Dialectical Behavior Therapy groups and providing individual counseling to adolescent males awaiting trial and sentencing within the juvenile justice system.
Geneva is currently a clinician at New England Forensic Associates working with both adolescent and adult sex offenders, conducting intakes and formulating treatment plans. She finds great joy in watching her clients successfully navigate through the criminal justice system.
