Ruth E. Khowais, Psy. D.

Dr. Ruth E. Khowais is a licensed clinical psychologist with 15 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of juvenile and adult sex offenders. Dr. Khowais received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University.  She was the Director of Assessment at the Massachusetts Treatment Center for Sexually Dangerous Persons where she worked from 2000-2006, and coordinated and supervised the internship program. She has been a consultant in sex offender assessment and treatment for the Wyoming Department of Correction and has done mental health and sex offender evaluations for the Massachusetts Department of Child and Family Services and the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health as well as school safety evaluations for local school systems.
